The healing process is influenced by various factors. Your behavior after the treatment is crucial for a long-lasting and beautiful result.
Care tips
To keep any reactions to a minimum, we have many important tips for you.
Our care tips
- You should avoid touching the treated skin areas until about an hour after the treatment.
- During the first two or three days, the skin may be slightly reddened, and in some cases, there may be slight peeling. During this phase, you should wash the treated areas several times a day and apply a moisturizing lotion. We will recommend suitable products during your consultation.
- The young skin layers must be optimally protected for several weeks. Use a high sun protection factor (at least SPF 50). The PRX T33 peel leads to a reduction in the pigment melanin: the skin becomes lighter (bleaching effect) and is therefore more sensitive to light. Just a few minutes of unprotected exposure to the sun or solarium can destroy the effect of the peel or even lead to discoloration.
- You should avoid strenuous exercise, sauna and smoking until the skin is completely healed.
