Aftercare
Optimal aftercare is important
Good aftercare is crucial to achieve the best possible result! As with other injection treatments such as the Nasiolabial fold injections you should refrain from doing some things immediately after your treatment. After injections, you should avoid intense sun exposure, sauna and solarium visits. The same applies to physically strenuous activities that cause heavy sweating. Give your skin enough time to regenerate and allow the polynucleotides to work optimally.
Care tips
- Drink enough water, at least 2 to 3 liters a day.
- Avoid intense heat such as saunas, solariums and hot showers for at least a week.
- No intensive sport. Avoid strenuous physical activity for the first 3 days.
- Take conscious care of your skin and only use gentle cleansing and care products without aggressive ingredients to soothe the skin.
If you notice redness or swelling after the polynucleotide treatment despite proper care, there is no need to worry! These should usually disappear after 2 to 3 days and are a normal reaction of the skin to the injections.
